I've supported people through growth, challenge, and major life transitions across several roles. As a Qualified Mental Health Professional under the supervision of a licensed clinical social worker, I served children in crisis and their families. The work was meaningful, intense, and often transformative — clarifying the direction of my work and deepening my understanding of resilience.
I also spent time in one-on-one partnerships with people with special needs — often male teens and young men navigating independence and identity — and guiding activities for seniors in a memory care center. I also trained as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supporting children with autism in developing communication, emotional regulation, and daily living skills. Across these experiences, I discovered something enduring: the spark of connection that comes from helping someone step more fully into their own life, and the profound impact of presence, support, and relationship at every stage.
The path that led me here began much earlier. I was first truly humbled by the immense mystery of life as I stared into a star-filled sky. The strange weight and wonder of existence was both fascinating and terrifying. I continued grappling with mystery and meaning into adulthood as I suffered recurring episodes of depression. Through these periods of darkness, the empathy I bring to others' struggles was forged.
My quest for meaning eventually brought me to conventional religion, and I pursued graduate theological education with the goal of writing and teaching. When I reached that destination, I realized human growth is far more complex than any system or guidebook can capture. I found myself facing a blank page — and it was through helping others begin writing their own stories that I started to understand how to write mine.
Not long ago, I ran into a young man I had once woken up before sunrise to help get to school. He had now graduated high school and recently landed the job he was once too nervous to pursue. Seeing someone grow into their potential remains the most meaningful measure of success I’ve ever known.
These experiences have guided me into a deeper journey of self-definition — learning who I am, how I want to move in the world, and how to live authentically in the limited time we each have. At heart, I’m an artist — drawn to creativity, intuition, and possibility. Mentorship, for me, is a form of creative collaboration: helping another person shape their life with intention.
Looking back, I realized something was missing from my own journey that could have made the path less painful: guidance. I saw others who had people investing time and energy into helping them choose direction, build skills, and navigate challenges. That kind of support can change the trajectory of a life. I became passionate about offering that presence for others — especially those who feel stuck, uncertain, or overwhelmed by the process of becoming themselves.
My role isn’t to tell you who to be.
It’s to walk beside you while you discover — and define — you.
If we’re a good fit, I would be honored to travel with you as you move toward greater clarity, confidence, and alignment with your truest self.
